My StoryWhy Tupperware? I had hosted an online party during the summer. I loved it, I was very involved in the party, so much so that the rep had asked me if I had done this before. That in itself planted the seed that I could indeed do this thing – it had NEVER crossed my mind! I mean, I sure didn’t grow up thinking « I want to be a Tupperware lady when I grow up! » I did, however, always have a longing for and dreams of having business ventures all my life.
I was a mom of 2 (5 & 3) working 15 hrs per week at a non for profit organization. My heart was torn every single day about going to work. My heart was calling me to stay home but I still wanted to contribute financially to our household. When the opportunity presented itself, with only a $39 investment (at the time) you bet that I jumped on it! I also received an awesome piece of cookware for saying yes! I thought, « whats the worst thing that can happen? I’ll end up with some pretty sweet Tupperware » You see, I’m all about taking the leaps in life because 1) that’s where the magic happens and 2) you can always come back to your comfort zone! So I took the leap and made the decision to try Tupperware for ONE YEAR (that’s what I had promised myself and my spouse) and that I would then return to full time work once our youngest started school. Since my start in Tupperware, I have gone on all expense paid trips, I am driving free company vehicles. I have brought in a bigger monthly salary than my spouses' on a few occasions. These are all great perks BUT what I love most is all the other things Tupperware has given me: an amazing group of supporting individuals, confidence, leadership abilities, continuous learning opportunities, and the ability to work from home. Future Goals: More Trips to Disney and the Bahamas! |
