My StoryWhen I finished High School, I wasn't sure what I wanted to do as a career. But I did know I wanted to own and run my own business, I just didn't know what type of business and how I would come up with money to start it. I never thought Tupperware would be that business. But it is the perfect fit for my life and family.
In January, 2007, I got a phone call from my friend asking me to attend a Tupperware party. I said yes, just to support her. But going to that party changed my whole life. I never grew up with Tupperware and never knew the differences in the plastics, and all the great things Tupperware products offered. At the time I was a manager of a dollar store in Hamilton and you can imagine the type of plastics I had in my house.
While at that party I thought I would just place an order and that was it. But I was blown away by all the products, and my wish list was growing bigger and bigger. And then the business opportunity was presented. And here is where everything changed. I took all the information home and booked a party. I talked my husbands ear off about all the products and the business opportunity. We decided that I should try the Business out and just do book sales and online sales. I thought there was no way I could do parties because standing in front of a group and talking was very hard for me. Well I had my grand opening and Kelley booked 5 parties for me to do. I decided to try doing parties and I loved it. It was so easy to talk about Tupperware because I loved it. With in a few months I knew this was the business and career I wanted to have. I knew this business would work well with my family as it grew and it would also work well with me still being able to help my husband's business.
In March, 2008, I quit my full time job to pursue my Tupperware business full time. In that same year I earned my first all expenses paid Trip. We earned 2 tickets to Vegas. It was an amazing Trip. While we were on that trip our Tupperware Family planned and surprised us (Jay and I ) with our Wedding. Our Tupperware Family was part of our wedding and our family at home got to watch on a live feed on the chapels website. We have been building our team and business and in the process we have earned more trips and car cash to pay for our car payments, plus making a great income.
This business is our prefect fit, what ever life throws our way Tupperware has always fit as it is flexible.
In 2012 we had our son Silas. I have been able to be a stay at home mom and still make a good income. I have never missed any important moment in his life. I love that I can still make an awesome income and spend tons of time with my son. Our family is growing very big and I can be there for everything and never miss anything important. And with our big blended family there is always a lot going on and I can be there. I have 4 step children (two sets of twins), 3 step grand children, plus our son Silas.
