My StoryWhen I graduated from College as a Child and Youth Care Worker, I thought I would be in that career until I retired. How did Tupperware come into my life? - family, and the need to live more and work less.
When my son was born in 2002, I went on maternity leave as everyone does. A year later I returned back to work, being 5 months pregnant, worked for 4 months, and then went on my second maternity leave in 2004. Before that maternity leave was completed, I was looking into daycare now for two children. When I did the math, I looked at what my monthly income was, minus the cost of daycare and gas to and from work. The final result after those expenses calculated to $400 take home for the month. Who would want to work 160 hours/month and make $400! Would you? Crazy! So if I was only going to bring home $400 a month, then why go back to work at all? So I thought, I need to get a job that would allow me to be a stay at home mom, but also provide some sort of income to the household. Working only 9 hours outside the home with Tupperware would provide me with the same income as a Child and Youth Care Worker working 160 hours/month with two children in daycare. It was a no brainer, and I began to sell Tupperware and be a stay at home mom. That was in June, 2005.
I now have a quality lifestyle, one that allows me to work less and make more. I am able to meet all of my children's needs, working my business around my family's schedule. I am my own boss, and I am paid for the efforts that I put into my own business.
I have grown my business into an Organization helping others to discover that they too can reach their dreams by living more and working less!
